▓████▓▌ in Winnipeg, Manitoba consisting of Andrew Hedlin ▓▌
▓████▓▌ (guitar), Jon Rash (bass), Jon Peters (drums), and ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Nick Mullin (keyboard). ▓▌

▓████▓▌ In late 2003, Andrew, Jon, and JP began making ▓▌
▓████▓▌ music songs in an emo vein, and started playing ▓▌
▓████▓▌ shows in early 2004 in Winnipeg and surrounding ▓▌
▓████▓▌ areas. The band felt out a musical direction with ▓▌
▓████▓▌ influences including Jimmy Eat World, Moneen, and ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Bobby McFerrin. Towards the end of their first year ▓▌
▓████▓▌ together, they welcomed Nick to the team. ▓▌
▓████▓▌ ▓▌
▓████▓▌ The Reception recorded a three-song demo of sorts ▓▌
▓████▓▌ with indie recording phenom Brent McCrea in March ▓▌
▓████▓▌ of '04 and are currently working on a new ▓▌
▓████▓▌ full-length CD to be released this summer. With 50 ▓▌
▓████▓▌ performances in its first year as a band and many ▓▌
▓████▓▌ more to come, The Reception is on the move. ▓▌
