The Clientele formed through a love of Galaxie 500,
Felt, Television, Love and The West Coast Pop Art
Experimental Band. They have been described as
sounding as if they are beaming in from a long-wave
radio on a late lonely night. Originally from
Hampshire and now based in London, the trio have
become indie-royalty in the States - signing to Merge
Records (home of Arcade Fire, Lambchop, Magnetic
Fields etc) and enjoying sold out tours across the
country. Time Out New York called them one of pop
musics best kept secrets.
