────┤ Notes ├─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
    └────────┘

Formed in 2011 in Rosemount, County Westmeath, Ireland, The Gloaming was a
supergroup composed of six-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion Martin Hayes,
folk-rock guitarist Dennis Cahill, Hardanger fiddle player Caoimhin O
Raghallaigh, producer-pianist Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman), and sean-nos
singer Iarla O Lionaird, perhaps best known for his work with worldbeat
     icons Afro-Celt Sound System.

Fusing traditional Irish music forms with rock and contemporary classical
influences, with O Lionaird singing in Irish throughout, the group won
rapturous critical acclaim, and several awards, for their 2013 eponymous
debut album, released on Peter Gabriel's Real World Records.
