     dominic stanton is certainly one of the most hyper-prolific        
     producers amongst the current broken-beat scene, releasing a slew  
     of recent releases and remixes for the likes of jazzanova and the  
     cinematic orchestra in recent years under an ever-increasing       
     coterie of different aliases including domu, rima, sonar circle    
     and umod. with its name originally plucked from a poster of star   
     wars planets and apparently chosen for its æbrazilian-soundingÆ    
     qualities, bakura represents the fruits of stantonÆs studio        
     partnership with longtime collaborator and co-member of former     
     band æthe collective unconsciousÆ robert marin, who contributes    
     brass, drums, guitar, keys and vocals to the productions. with a   
     strong focus upon jazz-funk and latin influences, in many ways     
     bakura represents the more live-band oriented end of stantonÆs     
     work, similar to a more brazilian-tinged incarnation of his recent 
     ærimaÆ offering.
