     SFeQ was the first Dutch jazz band to incorporate a DJ as a full
     member. Receiving a scholarship to study and practice in New York,
     the DJ was excluded of this generous gift: only 'real musicians'
     were allowed to go. In the mean time DJ Git Hyper (Erwin Zimmerman)
     has performed with a large and important Dutch symphony orchestra
     and he is giving clinics by the dozen at Dutch conservatories and
     music schools. SFeQ plays Zimmerman: in fact it is the other way
     around. Like a DJ manipulates records and sound, Git Hyper will
     manipulate the musicians. Living vinyl: Zimmerman will scratch the
     musicians. DJ Git Hyper's triphop-album Zimmerman has found its way
     to the London club scene already.
