manchester's rainy city music open their account for 2005 with
this rather wonderful bumpin' blues-edged broken-soul gem,
featuring cute erykah-esque vocals and lush pads and fills. the
'alternate ride' version extends the original's four and a half
minutes out to nearly ten, turning the track into a broken beat
tune (the sales notes are telling me it's reminiscent of recloose,
theo parrish and carl craig, but i'll let you decide on that for
yourself!).
