bastard jazz recordings was formed by two good friends and like
minded individuals, aaron schultz (drm) of brooklyn, ny and jay
marley, of orlando fl, with the intention of promoting the north
american downbeat scene to an audience of international headz.
forsaking the big monkey "cocktail" vibe, and short-lived musical
trends and styles, bastard jazz strives to focus on outputting
quality music, with a discerning eye on the dj and an ear to the
dancefloor.
drm's 10 for life has a deep dub vibe, with a hard hitting hip-hop
break and tribal percussion. labelmate and shadow / instinct
recording artist saru flips the track into a deeper and crunchy
drum break.
