Release Notes:
Formed in 2015, FERE are Jaime Manso (bass), Joπo Pedro Amorim (guitar), Pedro
Alves (bass) and JosΘ Pedro Alves (drums), names already known in the national
music scene.
In 2016, the group was invited by Teatro Experimental do Porto to compose the
soundtrack of the play "Nunca Mates o Mandarim", adapted from the book
"Mandarim" by Eτa de Queiroz. This piece was performed live during the
presentations of the play, at Teatro Nacional Sπo Joπo.
Last year, the band finally performed live, featuring compositions based on
instrumental rock, with heavier moments that approach the sound of groups like
Isis; Sumac; Amenra; Old Man Gloom; Russian Circles, among others.
ôMontedorö (2018) is the first album of the band, leaning over the darker side
of the sea. The music tries to create an ambience that represent this well-known
theme in Portugal, country of origin of FERE. Montedoræs release is scheduled
for March 20, by Raging Planet. A teaser of the first video clip, by Gonτalo
Delgado, has been released.
