We're all for polite sounding electro house, and sexy,
shiny Italo, and we love all those clever cosmic disco
dudes from Norway with their fashionable beards, but
every now and again you need a bit of plain old fashioned
NOISE to get things going on, and right now, Parisian
loonies Justice are the boys to give it to you.
With a cheesy sleeve featuring crosses and church organs,
it should come as no surprise to find 'Waters of
Nazareth' sounds like a cross between Daft Punk and
Slayer, with the filthiest (and funkiest) of industrial
basslines and ugly distorted beats chopped up and dropped
in and out before a spooky organ riff drifts in at the
end for a sepulchral finale. Guaranteed to take the roof
off the right 'floors, + the two slamming b-side cuts are
a bonus.
