         █░█    Robert Skoro first found his way onto the scene    █░█
         █░█    as an essential component of Mason Jennings'       █░█
         █░█    band, but with the release of "That These Things   █░█
         █░█    Could Be Ours," the 24-year-old Minneapolis        █░█
         █░█    singer-songwriter's Yep Roc debut, Skoro steps     █░█
         █░█    out front with a batch of gorgeously sculpted,     █░█
         █░█    orchestrated pop songs that call to mind the       █░█
         █░█    Shins, Pernice Brothers and Wilco's Jeff Tweedy.   █░█
         █░█    In his early 20s, the                              █░█
         █░█    producer/multi-instrumentalist turned his          █░█
         █░█    attention to writing and recording his own         █░█
         █░█    material. Only a month after the release of his    █░█
         █░█    self-released debut, "Proof," and with barely two  █░█
         █░█    gigs behind him, the Minneapolis City Pages had    █░█
         █░█    already named him their Artist of the Year         █░█
         █░█    calling his music "sweet enough to overcome the    █░█
         █░█    sourest of grapes." Now with That These Things     █░█
         █░█    Could Be Ours, recorded at Chicago's Engine        █░█
         █░█    studio with Brian Deck (Red Red Meat, Fruitbats,   █░█
         █░█    Modest Mouse and more) Skoro comes into his own    █░█
         █░█    with a batch of songs that bear the unique         █░█
         █░█    quality of being personal yet anthemic.            █░█
