..:: RELEASE NOTES ::..
DJ Misjah's highly respected Rerun imprint, continues to deliver
the dance floor goods, with its latest release courtesy of eastern
European DJ/ Producer Veztax aka Slave Stojaovic (Recon Warriors,
Rhythm Convert etc.). The ep gets started with Swedish DJ/Producer
duo, Devilfish (Bush, Frequent, Sway, Corb etc), who gives us
their own interpretation of 'Stars', where they keeps the beats
precise and funky and inject tasty edits, percussion and stabs.
Veztax's own original version of 'Stars', is next with its beefier
arrangement, vocal snippets, stabs, and whopping bass line. The
flipside sees Dutch production paring of Jan Liefhebber (Highland
Beats, Invasion, V Limited etc.) and Nimbuz (Klirfactor,
V-Limited, LK records etc..) teaming up to remix the title track
'Ne Me Fukat', for a driving, percussive techno vibe whilst still
incorporating the funky overtones, edits and twisted vocal
snippets for a pumping party vibe. Finally the ep is rounded off
with Veztax's original mix which again utilises effective tribal
styled percussion, and also incorporates a looped vocal chant for
dance floor effect
