The deep house crew brings you once again a high quality release of
soulful dance music.. music with emotion that deserves the promotion..

Austin Bascom alias "A:xus" or "Abacus" is an expatriate Londoner who
was transplanted to Toronto's ethnic melting pot early on in his
life. He caught the dance music bug on his frequent trips to nearby
Detroit in the late 1980's where he attended all-nite sessions at the
legendary Music Institute. It was here that he befriended techno
luminaries Derrick May, Chez Damier, Alton Miller, Juan Atkins,
D-Wynn and a host of others. At the encouragement of Derrick May,
a:xus invested in some gear and produced a number of classic tracks
which fused the elements of classic Detroit techno and Chicago house
into a style which Chez Damier would later describe as "a wicked Brew
which preserves the integrity of both genres while simultaneously
catapulting them into the future". Several years later, Chez Damier
released the highlights of these early works as the now classic
"Relics EP" on his seminal Prescription imprint. This record was to
launch a:xus' career. a:xus has since contributed releases to North
America's finest underground labels such as Derrick May's Fragile
Records, Prescription, 83 West, DNH, and, of course, Guidance
Recordings. Since the release of his first vocal project "When I
Fall", he has fully immersed himself in the studio and is
continuously plotting how to expand his own musical boundaries as
well as those of his audience. While he is recognized primarily as a
deep techno artist, he is currently producing drum n bass, hip hop,
and other downtempo tracks which defy classification. In addition, he
is working on a collaborative long player of disco, rare groove, and
world beats under the moniker Charly Brown. Although a relative
newcomer to the dance music industry,a:xus has already achieved
legendary status in the underground community.

     remember to support artists.

5 years deephouse. 5 years of nice music all over the place...
and it's still only about what we love.

you all know the situation nowadays, security is a nice thing to have,
p2p, people selling etc...i wont waste anymore words on that now.

we'd like to thank all the groups releasing quality electronic music,
the siteops who host the nice tunes, and all the people that really
make the scene a nice place to participate.

now enjoy the music and if you like it, support the artists.
