Boo Williams is growing as a producer. Once a big producer on labels
such as Relief and Peacefrog, his sound has matured as evidenced on
his latest EP "A Little Something For You" (GDR037). The first track
"Jew Dan" is built on a "Bra" sampled bassline which drives the track
while Boo sprinkles hi-hats and heavy chords to even it out. "Fairy
Tale (Pride)" is an awesome deep track which tells a dreamy tale. The
foundation is but a simple guitar riff upon which the percussion
builds leads to an almost anthemic string line crescendoing into a
cymbal crash a la Kevin Yost. From this point, Boo brings you back to
fantasy land. The B-side is more techno influenced. Old habits die
hard and recent passions sting even harder as Boo displays his
"Anger" on the B2 track. The backbone of his emotions are conveyed
through a sample reminiscent of something Nitzer Ebb would compose,
with only some calming synth washes to cool his mood. A superb EP
from a new side of an old artist.
remember to support artists.

5 years deephouse. 5 years of nice music all over the place...
and it's still only about what we love.
you all know the situation nowadays, security is a nice thing to have,
p2p, people selling etc...i wont waste anymore words on that now.
we'd like to thank all the groups releasing quality electronic music,
the siteops who host the nice tunes, and all the people that really
make the scene a nice place to participate.
now enjoy the music and if you like it, support the artists.
