- NOTES
Genetic Soil was the brainchild of Dialtone and his need
to unite multiple crews in the same area, with the same
intentions. In Detroit, music is very important to our
natives lives. I mean, this is Motown. The problem though,
is the way the inside community represents themselves.
This city feels as though affiliation should be more of a
competition. And, no doubt, Hip Hop music was founded on
competition. Friendly competition (pre-gangster era). But
in Detroit, you either build a fan base for yourself,
steal someone else's or even worse, rock a show who's
audience is just a bunch of other MC's. Everyone raps
here. But who's really doing it right?
Genetic Soil - that's who!
Another Quality Release from OSC!!
Enjoy!!
