Tim Bernhardt aka Lorenzo studied computer science and began to make
music with the help of software in the mid-nineties. He was driven by
his goal to bridge creativity and technology.
In 1996 he met Herb LF, followed by his debut maxi DigIt and a
release on the legendary Discokugel Dortmund sampler, both on Draft
Recordings.
Shortly afterwards he founded the deep house project Lorenzo together
with Yoshino, who he met in Dortmund in 1997 . The stability and
creative output of Lorenzo was based on the experience of the
musician Yoshino and the artistic vision of the perfectionist Tim
Bernhardt.
After spendig his time at Internet agencies for a number of years Tim
Bernhardt now works as a free-lance music producer. Together with
Yoshino and Herb LF he runs the production network Lorenzomusic and
the record label Metromusic .
