Designed as an open project by producer and DJ Sandro, LA TAVERNE DU
LAC strives to revive and stimulate the German-French relationship by
adding a new dimension through transforming communication to the
level of musical notations. In a humourous and elevating manner the
francophile blend of this Hamburg based production resembles a
parallel to the "mountain-to-lake" perspective: in the tavern
premises French esprit meets German calm, tricolore self-confidence
merges with hanseatic reserve and the occasional colonialist touch in
appearance finds its match in the cosmopolitan mentality of a harbour
based citizen.
