After the Split of the Kitty-Yo-Band "Go plus"
from Hamburg in the last year submits now
songwriter Pit Przygodda to be first solo album.
However no "classical" solo album, but an album
with film music.
Because which was so far almost unknown: Pit
Przygodda writes in the meantime already for
nearly ten years continuously film music for
Independent films and even even at the beginning
of the 90's of experimental films manufactured. To
that extent it is not amazing that already to the
last "Go Plus" album was stated that there are
there Songstrukturen, which are arranged like film
music: "The sound TRACK OF their lives. There
harmonies of the sixties-years meet on December
duck seventies-finger talent, and eighties Synthie
sounds are caught by an electronically trained,
spartanischen Groovegeruest." (SPEX)
The toned films move in the field of experimental
documentary film over animated film up to the
short feature, ran on different Festivals abroad
the in and (among other things BERLINALE, Sarajevo
film festival, Nyon filmfestival) and on different
television stations (among other things ARTE, BR,
Second Channel of German Television, CANAL+) and
were several times price-crowned (among other
things Fipresci price, 3sat-preis FOR DOCUMENTARY
FILM)
On "schein an" a selection of the pieces is
present now for the first time on, which orient
themselves particularly at Songstrukturen.
Everything was taken up in the domestic studio to
Hamburg. Pit Przygodda opens a far musical field,
which reaches Mendelsohn Bartoldy from Blues in
the "Talk Talk" style up to classical-romantic
music α la on "schein an". Apart from the
abundance of the musical material fascinated above
all however pit Przygoddas ease and
Unbekuemmertheit with which it people music apart
from Synthie Metal, Hammond organ end of workday
beer music, A-Capella-Chorwerk or 80's Pop places,
sings and plays. And the musical spectrum of the
morbid jazzigen Song "fishing rod" continues to
extend up to the casioiden "Manage".
Pit Przygodda is supported among other things of
the Songschreiberin and singer Geka, who borrows
"schein", "angel" and "Nation Hymne" their voice.
Geka will publish in the autumn its first solo
album on Cologne label "Le the Pop".
