For the J Dilla heads! Ruff Graft was originally an in-house
collaborative beat-tape made within a week by just some of the Millennium
Jazz Music roster as they all took time out to pay homage to the late
great Mr James Dewitt Yancey aka J Dilla.
Millenium Jazz Music decided to revisit Ruff Graft and build upon the
original track-list by including some of our newer label mates and then
record the whole thing to cassette tape for ourselves and some dedicated
collectors.
