selling classic theme It Was A Very Good Year
written by Elvin Drake in 1961. It has appeared on
countless records, but most of us know an
interpretation of Frank Sinatra. His version, rich
in orchestral arrangements and the most pompous of
all at the same time was used here for further
manipulations.
The interpretation by Sinatra, one of zillions of
romantic hits recorded over the 20th century, is
an essential one. It is about death, it is about
love, it is about inevitability - all the themes
that appear in different ballads here.

nor to Frank Sinatra himself. It's rather an
essence of the essence. The tribute to beauty in
its purest form, frozen in time and stretched to
