Josh Gabriel & Dave Dresden first met at the Miami Winter Music Conference in
2001. Dresden was employed by Pete Tong to find new music & Gabriel had a track
that he was touting. Pete Tong loved Gabriel's track & offered him the
opportunity to work on a New Order remix. Dresden also got involved with the
remix project, and thus these guys started working together, remixing,
producing & djing.
Both Josh & Dave have strong musical backgrounds. Dave Dresden has been involved
in the music industry for over 15 years as a DJ as well as working for record
companies & radio stations as reviewer, A&R, music director, promo & more.
Gabriel comes from a more musical background, first learning music in 1981 on a
synthesizer & studying music & sound production at the California Institute of
the Arts University & the Institute of Sonology in Den Hague in Holland. He has
done sound for high profile corporate companies & also created his own music
software.
Gabriel & Dresden are a powerful musical duo who have remixed and worked with
some of the biggest names in the music biz. They've had numerous chart toppers
& awards as well as being in demand for djing around the world.
