 █ █   Two productions off of Safety Scissors new album, Tainted Lunch,     █ █
 █ █   have been disarmed of all the fancy bells and whistles to reveal     █ █
 █ █   the straightforward candid songs which lie underneath. Compared to   █ █
 █ █   the tracks on the album the songs included on this 7" single are     █ █
 █ █   in a pre-produced stage...as if they travelled backwards in a        █ █
 █ █   musical time machine. Almost like cover versions done at the local   █ █
 █ █   high school talent show, the tracks have a guileless simplicity      █ █
 █ █   which demonstrates what music is about; similar to what The          █ █
 █ █   Shaggs' naivete taught us.                                           █ █
 █ █                                                                        █ █
 █ █   Sunlight's On The Other Side is solely guitar and bass underneath    █ █
 █ █   the vocals lamenting a long distance love affair while Breastbone    █ █
 █ █   's bodily references are fleshed out by adding drums and electric    █ █
 █ █   piano making for a soulful garage number.                            █ █
 █ █                                                                        █ █
 █ █   Erlend Oye, half of the dreamy duo Kings of Convenience, lends his   █ █
 █ █   dulcet backup vocals to both tracks as well as short successive      █ █
 █ █   strums on his vintage elecric guitar. On Breastbone, the all-star    █ █
 █ █   team of players includes in aspiring pianist Sutekh, drummer for     █ █
 █ █   Death Sentence: Panda! Chris Dixon, and Geoff White on Bass.         █ █
