│ Undoubtedly one of the compilations that │
│ ushered many a young raver into the │
│ mysterious world of trance, this 2CD set from │
│ Logic Records originally released in 1994 │
│ features several indisputable classics of the │
│ genre, as well as some lesser heard and │
│ questionable additions. Tracks like The │
│ Orb's "Little Fluffy Clouds" and FSOL's │
│ "Papua New Guinea" are more on the ambient │
│ house tip, but when they're surrounded by │
│ other such great tunes as the superb DJ Kid │
│ Paul mix of "Cafe Del Mar", Marmion's │
│ "Schoneberg", Cosmic Baby's "Spacetrack", │
│ LSG's "Fragile", and 4 Voice's "Eternal │
│ Spirit"... who's going to complain? │
│ │
│ If you don't already have this in your │
│ collection, far be it from me to say you need │
│ it... but you couldn't go wrong with it. │
│ │

│ PLEASE NOTE; │
│ The original European edition of this comp │
│ was released by EMP back in 2001. However, │
│ this US edition has several notable changes, │
│ and is a completely separate edition from the │
│ Euro version. Where the Euro edition had │
│ "How Much Can You Take?" by Visions Of Shiva │
│ and "Love Stimulation" by Humate on disc one, │
│ this version omits them, and chooses to │
│ replace them with "Should I Try" by │
│ Mindbender, and the DJ Kid Paul mix of Energy │
│ 52's "Cafe Del Mar". For whatever reason │
│ this occured, I do not know -- perhaps the │
│ rights were not available to be licensed in │
│ the States at the time of this release. │
