DJ Yousef has been DJing since the age of 15 but came to the big league when he
won the Muzik Mag bedroom bangers competition. His prize was a Renaissance set
in Pacha, Ibiza, where a Ministry of Sound representative signed him up on the
spot. Yousef soon became a regular at both Ministry Of Sounds Move (Friday) &
Rulin (Saturday) nights - proving to all his versatility of style. He also
became a regular at Renaissance & in 2000 gained a much sought after residency
at Cream. Since 2002, Yousef created his own club night - Circus - in his
hometown of Liverpool.Yousef is also a sucessful producer recording under the
names "10, 000 BC" (Junior Boys Own), "Drum Bums"(Dysfunktional) &
"Harry Munroe" as well as doing a swag of high profile remixes. Yousef runs his
own record company called "Carioca" which releases his own music & producers
like Onionz, Blakkat & Tyra. He has just released a mix for Renaissance & has
his own comp called "Friends" coming out which features all his DJ friends
laying down a track.
