Release Notes:

A massive collection of work by one of the greatest female acts to come out of
Philly in the 70s -- a seminal all-girl trio whose work had a huge influence on
disco and club into the 80s! First Choice got their start doing more
pop-oriented work for the Philly Groove label -- but by the end of the 70s,
they'd hooked up with Salsoul, who set the girls in a sound that was perfect for
their growing understanding of the dancefloor -- a soaring mode that was very
much in the best Salsoul take on Philly, and which provided a perfect platform
for some of the deepest vocals the trio ever set to record! This 2CD set
features all 3 of the group's albums for Salsoul -- Delusions, Hold Your Horses,
and Breakaway -- plus additional bonus tracks from singles and remixes, making
for a whopping 28 track set that serves up some of the most seminal female club
work of the 70s. Titles include album mixes of "Double Cross", "Doctor Love",
"Indian Giver", "Love Having You Around", "Let No Man Put Asunder", "Love
Thang", "Do Me Again", "Jimmy D", "Good Morning Midnight", "Hold Your Horses",
"I'm The One", "Breakaway", and "Pressure Point" -- plus singles "Let No Man Put
Asunder (Frankie Knuckles 12" mix)", "Love Thang (Tee Scott 12" mix)", "Let No
Man Put Asunder (Shep Pettibone 12" mix)", "Double Cross (Danny Tenaglia 12"
remix)", and "Doctor Love (Tom Moulton unreleased 12" mix)"
