│ Profile: After his first contact with techno │
│ music in the end of 80s, Ogi became its fan & │
│ collector. He got inside of Croatian │
│ electronic scene in a more active way as │
│ resident DJ of Club 82 in Novalja in 1995, │
│ the same year he organised the first party in │
│ Pag Island. Next year parties at Club 82 were │
│ held under the name Energetica and then the │
│ idea about continue organizing parties and │
│ club sessions was born. Together with fellow │
│ DJ Rene, Ogi started to work as Energetica │
│ Team, regularly making techno events at Club │
│ 82 every summer until 1998. In that year, │
│ their work reached its peak starting an │
│ electronic music radio show (Energetica │
│ Music) on Radio DJ Crikvenica. │
│ │
│ When the period of stagnancy of techno scene │
│ in Croatia arrived, the show was cancelled │
│ and Ogi started again on his own, soon │
│ working as an associate for X-Music at the │
│ same radio station. The programme is run by │
│ Bruno aka Kroma and Ogi, who are now part of │
│ the renewed Energetica Team. The main goal of │
│ the team was to introduce the audience to │
│ techno sounds through a range of parties and │
│ small listening rooms. At that time, Ogi was │
│ often guest of parties in Croatia, and also │
│ in Slovenia and Czech Republic. │
│ In 2001, he played for first time in Austria. │
│ That summer Energetica Team û with 20 members │
│ û organised a big open air Techno festival │
│ called Exotica. After a Beatology party Ogi │
│ joined Pulla's organization Beatbull, one of │
│ the best electronic music promoters in │
│ Croatia. In the last quarter of that year Ogi │
│ played in Croatia and Austria, bounded to Fun │
│ Academy club in Rijeka as resident DJ. In the │
│ early 2002 he began to work as a producer. │
│ His sets can now be often heard in │
│ discotheque Colosseum in Opatija and, of │
│ course, at the Beatbull and Energetica │
│ parties. │
│ Since 2002, DJ Ogi has taken more serious │
│ approach to production work and in │
│ collaboration with DJ Carl Max has published │
│ the song ôEnergeticaö on double compilation │
│ album ôTranscontinentalö for label TechEX │
│ rec. from Prague. At the end of 2002. he had │
│ his first gigs in Italy & Bosnia and │
│ Herzegovina. │

│ This release may contain copyrighted material, however SWEET guarantees │
│ that this material was at least available to one person "on the street" │
│ and that the possession of this material is in no way privileged. │
│ │
│ SOUR has been releasing good quality drum'n'bass, jungle & oldskool │
│ rips to the internet drum'n'bass public since summer 1999. Originally a │
│ small operation, we have now reached levels of international acclaim. │
│ │
│ SWEET is our most recent offspring dedicated to bring you quality │
│ electronic music that is not included in SOURs regular genre list. │
│ │
│ SWEET is dedicated to both the availability and promotion of music to │
│ the public, and our rips are intended to reflect these ideals. │
│ │
│ Specifically: │
│ │
│ . SWEET is dedicated to the promotion of new music that is currently │
│ available to buy. If you like something you hear, you are obliged to │
│ attempt to purchase an original copy. │
│ │
│ . SWEET is dedicated to the promotion of old music that may no longer │
│ be available to buy. │
│ │
│ . SWEET is dedicated to the expansion and infiltration of electronic │
│ music worldwide! We provide a service where none is available, │
│ specifically in many remote countries where traditional distributors │
│ can not afford to target. Also, the availability of electronic music │
│ in an easily accessible form expands the potential for real world │
│ sales to people who may not otherwise have considered buying this │
│ kind of music. │
│ │
│ . SWEET is dedicated to the expansion of the online and offline real │
│ world scenes. With more listeners enjoying what they hear, clubs and │
│ venues can only expect MORE people to attend events; DJ's can only │
│ expect MORE people to pay to see THEM. │
│ │
│ By accident of today's current real world distribution arrangements, │
│ many artists will find that SWEET releases IMPROVE their real world │
│ sales; especially for items only on vinyl. This is the basis upon │
│ which SWEET operates. │
