Release Notes:
In the wake of the critical success of their debut
album, Small Circle, Clayhill release this
eight-track self-titled acoustic album. If youÆve
yet to be exposed to ClayhillÆs sound, thereÆs
something of Talk Talk and Penguin CafΘ Orchestra in
there, not to mention small but satisfying splashes
of Nick Drake and Tim Hardin. With musical
chameleon-like pasts which put the most eclectic of
artists to shame, Clayhill's debut album was
considered by the Sunday Times as "One of those
records youÆll still be playing in twenty years" û
sitting comfortably alongside Neil Young, Joni
Mitchell and Van Morrison in your record collection,
while retaining a contemporary edge.
