| Born in Dover, Anne Ducros started her classical education at the |
| Boulogne-sur-Mer Conservatoire. As a student, she put the |
| finishing touches to her great vocal talent thanks to Yuri Lov |
| Anoff and Maddy Mespley, also performing a lot of concerts with |
| universities bands. Initiated to vocal jazz since 1986 thanks to |
| Didier Lockwood, she created her first jazz quartet and won |
| different international awards. This growing recognition gave her |
| an inexhaustible will to sing and perform. This was initiated by |
| the release of her first jazz vocal album æDonÆt you take a |
| chanceÆ in 1989. After this first recording, she did hundred of |
| concerts, attended many festivals and met great composers and |
| musicians such as Michel Petrucciani, Michel Legrand, Ray Brown, |
| Ted Curson, Jacky Terrasson, Eric Lelannà Her artistic achievement |
| is coupled with a personal teaching investment. Since 1994, she |
| has been the director to the Prelude school (first school of vocal |
| jazz based in Paris) and she also leads training sessions around |
| the world. Anne collaborated with many musicians, and released a |
| second album in 2001, for which she received the Billie Holiday |
| Award from the French Jazz Academy in 2001. One year later, she |
| also received the Vocal Artist Award from the Django d Or, and in |
| 2003, she relased her last album *Close your eyes*. Her albums are |
| distributed in many countries such as Brazil, Australia, Israel, |
| Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam and Europe. The international |
| development of this great artist is just starting! |
