Discovered by Temporary Resistance when she emailed
them mp3s streaming at her Myspace account, Caroline
Lufkin was born and raised in Okinawa, schooled
musically at Berklee, and now resides in California.
The 24-year-old vocalist/composer carols like an
American Idol tween-pop princess covering Bjork as
Kahimi Karie. Here, Swede cohort Andreas Bjorck coats
her sugary queries in digital-age iced production so
crystalline you'll hear those last bits of flocked
pixie dust kiss the floor beneath the sprays, trills,
drips, and clicks of minimal toy-chest electronics.
