Ken Gibson is living in sunny L.A. After his house releases as a(p)endics
shuffle and Premature Wig on DISCO INC, where he is connecting Deep House
with digital sounddesign, KenGibson is going back to his main electronic
project. His last Eight Frozen Modules album was released two years ago on
Orthlong. Since that Ken Gibson created a perfect sound, from minimal to
maximal... Microsampling, cut-Up. complex beats, clicks, glitches, all
accessoires, tools, plug-ins and styles of new electronic music are used
to programm a hypergalactic sound.
Far away we hear the music of Paradroid, Akufen, Autechre, Kid 606 or
Secondo. It's a wild journey through fractal landscapes, using
differential rhythms and abstract sounds, hyper- nervous and extremely
intense. After Paradroid the next step for the follow up Label of Mille
Plateaux... (review from soulseduction.com)
