:: Release Notes:
::
:: Sara's second independent release, Simpatico, reveals simple
:: truths that surround us but that we often overlook. Sara's
:: lyrics gently crumble the shallow constructions of modern
:: life leaving the listener in a place of deeper meaning. Like
:: an acoustic ship on calm, soothing waters, with heartfelt
:: lyrics as your compass, and a soft graceful voice as your
:: sail, Simpatico sweeps its listeners across changing scenery.
:: In its most lush and vibrant areas, as on the cd opener,
:: "After The Storm" (featuring Willy Porter) and Bob Dylan's,
:: "Mama You Been on my Mind", it is ceremonious. In its most
:: stark areas, as on, "Marriage Song" and "Concrete", it is
:: suffused with quiet charm. At its darkest, as on "The Call";
:: or its lightest, as on "Western Sky", it is ethereal and
:: triumphant.
