TEAM are a band in control of their own destiny. In
the world of rock they are a complete one-off,
numbering as they do an ex-RAF Captain, former
international athlete and high-IQ graduate's, which
might go some way to explaining their military
       precision and carefully-planned athletic-style
       musical workout.

A true story: TEAM's acclaimed debut 'the penalyn lp'
was financed using the profits on 40,000 cigarettes
brought out of Basra, Iraq and sold around the pubs
and back-room of their native Midlands. Resourceful?
TEAM could survive a nuclear war and still build you
a guitar out of branches and berries.

Recorded in a blood-flecked pig shed in summer 2004,
the penalyn lp rightly received acclaim in Kerrang!,
Rock Sound, Metal Hammer, DrownedInSound - airplay on
Radio 1 and XFM - and drew comparisons to Queens Of
The Stone Age, Mogwai and Nirvana.

But it was the product of a band who had been
       together for mere weeks.

Now, exactly 365 days since their debut release TEAM
unleash titanic album number two 'The Line From A -
BÆ' - they are the anti-Guns N' Roses. In true
Fugazi-inspired style TEAM wrote, recorded, financed,
produced and mixed 'The Line From A - BÆ' themselves,
this time in prize stables in deepest darkest
Leicestershire. The striking artwork was done by
their in-house designer Fraser West. One day they
       called their label Captains Of Industry and said;
'It's ready' come and get it!ö

Live, TEAM are all about pummelling riffs and a pop
sensibility buried deep within; four men feeling
their own self-created power rising up through their
feet. They tour incessantly. It's no surprise they
live as far from the sea as you can get in the UK,
their sound a dusty tightly-wound dust storm twisting
across the landscape, but crucially - forever seeking
       out a melody.

       PRESS

"'MEN ON A MISSION TO DESTROY POST-ROCK' - TEAM have
a very powerful musical formula: the chiming guitar
parts of rock condensed into melodic verses, before
the chorus explode like badly wired distortion
       pedals." 5/5 Big Cheese

"Like Mclusky & Biffy Clyro before them, Team wield
an amalgam of apocalyptic noise that rips through
other bands like a chainsaw through flesh" Kerrang!

"nigh-on thrilling, like a schizophrenic Snow Patrol
intent on making ears bleed" Rock Sound
