Michael Burian has fixed his position as a superstar in his homelands
having come a long and hard way. Much work and discipline helped him
becoming one of EuropeÆs most in demand DJs. He became the No.1 Czech
DJ, this as voted by the readers of Xmag Magazine and Techno.cz, the
most influential and followed dance music media outlets in the Czech
Republic and thence resides in England, Germany, Poland, Hungary and
Slovakia.
His first alias ôElectromajkô has been a successful man in music
business long time before he called himself by his real name Michael
Burian. He produced several mix-CDs for different labels and
magazines and he got back waves of elation. So in 2001 his name
resounded throughout the land and he already played on the bigger
events in the Czech Republic. At that time Michael connected his work
with the JPA agency which is presenting the Creamfields Festival in
Liverpool and Prague for example.
From the beginning of his passionate relation to electronic music
djing was not enough for him, so he early began producing own music.
His first EP was called ôOrgasmitechö. Short time after his first
release he did the äBlow Me / Hotmaleô û EP which quickly got to the
top of club music and got the price ôsingle of the yearö at the Czech
Dance Awards. Michael got huge feedback û not only from media and
press but also from colleagues like DJ Tiesto.
Michael is launching a new chapter of electronics in 2004: He ended
his residency at Roxy in Prague and started a new project äVisageô û
a meanwhile legendary club night. He is there more than resident; he
is creator and head behind the scenes. äVisageô became that
successful that Michael nowadays is arranging ôVisage-Nightsö at
several locations (Fabric - Ostrava / Club Capitol - New
Delhi/India). Every second weekend of the month you can experience
Michael spinning passionate as he could ... enchanting the Roxy every
time with his sound. So if itÆs too far for you to enjoy MichaelÆs
home matches we have another way for getting closer to the musician
Michael Burian: Circle Music #005 is waiting in the wings and of
course will take on all contenders. Alex Flatner û head of Circle
Records û and Alec Chizhik (Clyde Rock) produced that EP with Michael
and they made up an effective team. The tracks combine a breath of
Tech-house with grooving housy rhythms. The accessory harmonics
