- NOTES
After leaving the television program "Fame," Nia, who has
studied voice with Gloria Rush, signed a record deal with
PolyGram Records, who were already familiar with her work
through the show. Nia's first single, "Trouble," became a
#1 hit on the dance charts, and was followed by the
full-length release "Nothin' But Trouble" in 1988.
"There are two things I wanted to do with this album. I
wanted to give listeners something they could get up and
jam to. And the other was to do something with ballads
that people could relate to. I wanted a chance to really
get out there and sing." - Nia Peeples
Another Quality Release from OSC!!
