░ Sounds Like Sunset are back with their long-awaited second album, ░
░ Invisible, due out September 19 on Architecture/Crosscountry. ░

░ The incongruously-titled new album Invisible, affirms Sounds Like ░
░ Sunset as a band to be seen and heard. They remain defiantly loud, ░
░ their sonic aggression tempered by singer Dave Challinor's Dennis ░
░ Wilson-esque voice and lullaby melodies. Invisible's hypnotic walls ░
░ of guitar noise create a sensory psychedelia to get beautifully ░
░ wrapped up and happily lost in. ░
░ ░
░ To make Invisible, Sounds Like Sunset went back to basics demo-ing ░
░ their ideas on a second-hand cassette four-track. With half the band ░
░ relocated to the Central Coast, recording sessions happened between ░
░ SydneyÆs Smokin' and Jokin' and Velvet Sound studios and the band ░
░ tracked their meandering, expansive soundscapes around day-jobs, ░
░ nightshifts, and train timetables. ░

░ Sounds Like Sunset have survived a brush with Sydney's music ░
░ tastemakers, some attendant label trauma and the inevitable anti- ░
░ climax of being named the "next big thing". ░
