█│ Music has always been the biggest passion in Tiesto's │█
█│ life and he felt the need to share that passion with │█
█│ other people. Between 1985 and 1993 he performed as a │█
█│ resident at several clubs in Holland and in these │█
█│ years he developed an important foundation. Together │█
█│ with Arny Bink he founded the record company Black │█
█│ Hole Recordings which provides the world with all │█
█│ sorts of quality dance music. │█
█│ │█

█│ On Black Hole Tiesto has released the Magik and In │█
█│ Search Of Sunrise mixcompilation series, and most │█
█│ recent Nyana. His remix of 'Delerium featuring Sarah │█
█│ McLachlan - Silence' was the first house track ever │█
█│ broadcasted on daytime radio in North America and was │█
█│ eight weeks in the U.K. top 10 chart. │█
█│ │█
█│ In 2001 Tiesto started a new sublabel, Magik Muzik, │█
█│ which is providing the world with Tiesto's finest │█
█│ productions and his favourite tracks. The first │█
█│ releases were the 2001 anthem 'Flight 643' and his │█
█│ long-awaited artist album, 'In My Memory'. The label │█
█│ also features massive anthems from Umek, Mark Norman │█
█│ and Mojado. After winning almost every dance related │█
█│ award in 2002 a crown was put on his career by being │█
█│ voted the number 1 DJ in the world in DJ Magazine's │█
█│ Top 100. │█
█│ │█
█│ The year 2003 has been a year filled with highlights. │█
█│ Tiesto is also now officially the first DJ in the │█
█│ world ever to sell out a stadium-event with a solo │█
█│ performance for over 25.000 people. Like Nyana, the │█
█│ Tiesto in concert DVD has reached the gold status in │█
█│ Tiesto's native country, same for the hit single │█
█│ 'Traffic' which is the first instrumental track to │█
█│ reach the number 1 chart position in 23 years. In 2003 │█
█│ Tiesto has won 3 TMF-Awards (Holland & Belgium), 2 │█
█│ Dutch DJ Awards, 1 MTV Europe Award, and again was │█
█│ number 1 in DJ Magazine's Top 100, a first for a DJ to │█
█│ get this spot twice in a row! │█
█│ │█
█│ The beginning of 2004 started out great for Tiesto │█
█│ with a tour through Asia, South-America and winning 2 │█
█│ Dutch TMF-Awards for 'Best Dance Act' and 'Best DJ'. │█
█│ His new single 'Love Comes Again' with BT was yet │█
█│ again a big chartbuster all over Europe and the global │█
█│ reviews for his artist album entitled 'Just Be' were │█
█│ extremely positive. It took 'Just Be' one week to │█
█│ conquer the number 1 position in the National Album │█
█│ Charts and less than two months to achieve the gold │█
█│ status in The Netherlands. │█
█│ │█
█│ The second half of 2004 features the highlight in the │█
█│ career of Tiesto so far. During the 'Parade Of The │█
█│ Athletes' at the official Opening Ceremony of the │█
█│ Olympic Games in Athens, Tiesto played live for over │█
█│ 70.000 people inside the stadium and for a crowd of │█
█│ billions from all over the world watching the event on │█
█│ television. │█

█│ In addition to this huge event, the album 'Parade of │█
█│ the athletes' is released worldwide in October 2004, │█
█│ which contains the music from Tiesto's set at the │█
█│ Opening Ceremony. Simultaneously, the title song of │█
█│ his 'Just Be' artist album is climbing the lists and │█
█│ is heard on dancefloors everywhere. │█

█│ On October 28th,Tiesto once again comes out on top in │█
█│ DJ Magazine's TOP 100 list, the only list voted for by │█
█│ the public worldwide. Winning it for the third time in │█
█│ a row clearly shows that at this point Tiesto is the │█
█│ world's superstar DJ. Once again he sold out 2 Tiesto │█
█│ In Concert events in Holland and the first │█
█│ international one in Belgium, finishing the year 2004 │█
█│ with a tour through South-America and North-America │█
█│ with a special New Years Eve party in Los Angeles. │█
