      │ Koen Buyse, founder and singer / guitarist of "ZORNIK" formed the    │░
      │ band in 1999, together with Marijn Horemans (drums) and Kristof      │░
      │ Vanduren (bass). Koen lives and breathes music, unafraid to combine  │░
      │ powerful music with an emotional and honest content and hell, why    │░
      │ not, generous with a touch of drama and passion.                     │░

      │ Due to the solid live reputation of the band and (prolific)          │░
      │ song-writing talent of frontman Koen Buyse , the band made it to the │░
      │ finals of "HUMO's Rock Rally", Belgium's most famous rock contest.   │░
      │ There the band was spotted by Parlophone Belgium and MTC Management, │░
      │ so what more can one wish for?                                       │░
      │ The demo's they recorded in Brussels' studio BSB, with the artful    │░
      │ help of engineer Marc Franτois, turned out so powerful that          │░
      │ rerecording the lot would have been a crime and this resulted in     │░
      │ their first EP "Love Affair". Highly respected studio wizards        │░
      │ "CinΘrex" were found willing to do a superb remix from "Love         │░
      │ Affair"à This EP stayed in Belgium's leading alternative charts at   │░
      │ Studio Brussel, for more than 10 weeks since March 2001.             │░
      │ The second EP, 'It's so unreal' was even more successful remaining   │░
      │ in the alternative charts for more than 20 weeks reaching number 3   │░
      │ as highest position.                                                 │░

      │ Zornik played in 2001 at important summer festivals: Eurorock        │░
      │ (Neerpelt), Marktrock (Leuven) and Pukkelpop (Hasselt). They have    │░
      │ gave a business presentation at A2A in Amsterdam and are appeared at │░
