Orgatronics is the brainchild of producer duo Sam Bell and Rich Arthurs who
wanted to fuse traditional flamenco and latin instruments and techniques with
state-of-the-art electronica and a pop music sensibility. Add to this the dreamy
vocals of ex-classical star Emily Levy, squidgey keyboards from MorcheebaÆs Dan
Goldman, sublime jazz trumpet, and the result is the debut album Moonfruit. Or,
to put it another way: think Manu Chao starting a fight with the Gotan Project
cheered on by Air and Tito Puente. This works as an Ibiza chill-out album, but
it goes way deeper. Note: Track 2 û Briga ¡û appears on Latin Vibes: Lounge
Selection, (Mettle Music), and on the Iberian ambient compilation La Cova æ05
