█ In this modern age it seems many of us have little to no time █
█ available to actually live our lives; where many people feel they █
█ are living to work when in fact, it should be the reverse. On █
█ this, his latest release, Tony Young explores his own personal █
█ experiences with the daily grind; and has written ten tracks that █
█ are inspired by trifle annoyances and the little things that █
█ patch up these minor wounds. █
  █ █
█ 'Makeshift Splint' is a remarkably more electronically inspired █
█ album that draws influence from a variety of genres. Trademark █
█ emotive pads are littered with 80's synth nuances and pop █
█ sensibilities, all wrapped up within touches of an IDM framework; █
█ and in a lot of respects culminate one of his most accessible █
█ releases in many a year, with key hooks along the way to sooth █
█ the pain and provide a brief respite from toil. █
  █ █
