Release Notes:
Layman's Terms are a melodic hardcore band made up of Mike, Rob, Matt, Danny and
Joe. We wanted to write and play the music that we heard in our heads so in
early 2015 we rented a practice room and set off writing songs and honing the
sound we wanted. Influenced by The Descendents, Strung Out, Frenzal Rhomb, Black
Flag and countless other SoCal and Hardcore bands we genuinely surprised
ourselves with how quickly we found our sound and nearly 18 months later we are
very proud of what our hard work has produced. In April 2016 we spent 10 days in
the studio recording our debut ep and filmed a video for the song 'Minor
Setback'.
Now we are taking the band out to play as many gigs as possible, to as many
people as possible, with plans in the pipeline for a full length album and some
more videos to follow.
Hope to see you at a gig soon, and if there isn't one near enough to you, why
not contact us and offer us one!
