Release Notes: ░██▓
██▒
After years of anticipation from fans dating back to the ██░
early '90s, Omega Johnson comes forth with his solo debut, ██
The Blackbird. As the frontman for the classic NYC ██
underground group Mhorlocks, OJ tore through the New York ██
scene with consistently innovative lyrics, and the Mhorlock ██
tradition continues here. ██
██
With production by Dok Who?! and Cenzi Stiles, and a guest ██
appearance from family member Mr. Man of Bush Babees, Omega ██
brings forth the missing link in hip-hop -- the hardcore and ██
soulful witticisms reminiscent of EPMD, Public Enemy, Big ██
Daddy Kane, and other greats of the eras from which OJ has ██
clearly drawn his influences. ██
██
With Omega... the End is just the Beginning. ██
