The 6th episode in the Lifestyles series from retro crate diggers
extraordinaire, Harmless Records, continues its journey with an intoxicating set
from one of the planetÆs sunniest DJ/Producers DJ Spinna. Hugely respected, DJ
Spinna enjoyed massive props for his inspired ôWonder Of Stevieö anthologies,
which are two of the best-selling titles from the Harmless stable. It was only a
matter of time before the Spinna man unleashed his ôLifestylesö set, which joins
the dots from The Supremes to Herbie Hancock, Newcleus to Flora Purim providing
ace multi dimensional sounds to enjoy for a good long time to come.
Over the last few years, Spinna has established himself as one of the hardest
working individuals in music, with finely crafted productions and remixes for
Michael Jackson, Eminem, De La Soul, Mary J. Blige, Ronny Jordan, Mos Def,
Pharoahe Monch and Zero 7.
Regarded as one of the most versatile and talented producers/DJ's/remixers in
today's musical arena, Spinna combines a busy International DJ schedule
alongside running his own label WonderWax. DJ Spinna has over fifteen years of
experience as a DJ, and has been collecting records since childhood.
Having a deep rooted and diverse background in music has given Spinna the
ability to whip his crowds into a frenzy. His sets range from hip-hop, break
beats, R n B and rare grooves to classic soul, funk, jazz, disco, house and
vintage US garage tunes.
