    │release notes.

"Where's the Party?" is the lead single from Boston Rodriguez's
debut album "The President is Dead, Long Live Boston Rodriguez".
The song more than lives it up to its title with a no holes barred,
white knuckle rollercoaster ride of a party tune.

Boston Rodriguez is a no nonsense kind of producer / musician with
no pretensions and an infectious sense of humour. "Where's the
Party?" answers the very question it poses. The Party is right
here! Mixing his myriad influences of Latin Jazz, Salsa and Drum
'n' Bass and coming up with an anarchic, innovative new sound that
     is all his own.

The lyrics say everything about the mundanity of modern life and
the weekly ritual that anyone with a horrible 9 - 5 existence can
vouch for except that here the emphasis is on the absolutely joyous
aspect of finishing work on a Friday and partying all weekend. With
a blistering vocal attack Yo Yo Quartez (from Bugz in the Attic)
throws an almost ska vibe into the mix of Latin, Salsa and Drum 'n'
Bass with her punky sneering lyrics "Friday night its Six O Clock,
this week and work well out of sight. Its time for the weekend, its
time to let go, Im feeling good tonight i'll tell you so!".
Its a cornucopia of influences and inspirations and succeeds due to
the sheer energy and honesty with which it is delivered. Boston's
previous single releases have been restricted, ltd edition 7"
releases on his own Play Hard label and have become collectors
items with Dj's such as Mr Scruff and Gilles Peterson championing
     his talent.

Boston is also an accomplished musician and has played every
instrument on his debut album earning him a reputation as the "One
     man Santanna".

Look out for the Boston Rodriguez Live experience which he is
rehearsing at present with his band of delinquent punks and blonde
     supermodels.
