Boston Rodriguez has been a busy boy since he studied at The Royal Academy of
Music. At the tender age of 16 he was producing records (as Shredder and
Squadron Blue) for drum & bass label Moving Shadow as well as LTJ Bukems Cookin'
label . This debut album has forged together the intricate programming
influences he helped pioneer from d'n d to Latin jazz. Boston plays all the
instruments on this record a feat that shows his multiplicity as a recording
artist. There is a big Afro-Cuban influence in his sound complemented by a
super-smooth production style that will surely always guarantee him work. Think
New Cool Collective on speed.
