░  With a distinctly original sound fusing heavy percussion with soul,   ░
░  world, rock, hip-hop and roots reggae, the funky percussive groove    ░
░  of Blue King Brown marks them as one of the best new bands around.    ░
░  Fronted by the soulful vocals, powerful lyrics, and awesome           ░
░  percussion and guitar work of Natalie Pa'apa'a, (of Samoan / Native   ░
░  American decent, known for her appearances with acclaimed percussion  ░
░  group SKIN) Blue King Brown are definitely a musical force to be      ░

░  Currently based in Melbourne, this impressive 5 piece band has        ░
░  quickly established itself on the scene forming a strong fan base     ░
░  nationally with a series of regular gigs/touring and rotation on      ░
░  Triple J. Their gig highlights to date include appearing as opening   ░
░  acts for The John Butler Trio and Michael Franti & Spearhead.         ░

░  Natalie and her Blue King Brown co-founder Carlo Santone already      ░
░  have enviable reputations as percussionists throughout the music      ░
░  industry, built on their work with SKIN, and guest appearances with   ░
░  JBT, Spearhead, The Cat Empire, Jeff Lang, Mick Hart and Bomba at     ░
░  many respected venues and festivals around the country including the  ░
░  East Coast Blues and Roots Fest, Womadelaide, Woodford folk fest and  ░
░  the Big day Out to name a few.                                        ░
