Release Note ......::
As the dust still settles on his and his band's immensely detailed and
provocative audio/visual album æHumanÆ , and crowds around the world still
recover from their legendary Henry Saiz & Band live shows, itÆs safe to say
that 2018 has been Henry SaizÆs most accomplished and creatively fulfilling
year to date. If this remarkable return to SashaÆs Last Night On Earth is
anything to go by, 2019 will be just as excitingà
Fittingly entitled æA Walk Through The HazeÆ, HenryÆs first tracks on the label
since 2015 instantly summon the highly cosmic, utterly enveloping signature
that secured him such a sweet spot in the first place.
Emotional, unpredictable and splashed with powerful tones and colours; on each
cut thereÆs a clear point where you think youÆll know where heÆs going before
boom: he takes a sudden turn and brings on a completely different trip. The
stunningly mind melting breakdown of æClaustrumÆ, the darker, rolling technoid
textures on the payoff of æThe ArchÆ and finally the sudden island-bound
ripples that flutter out of the gurgling bass on the finale æThe HuntÆ are just
three examplesà
Detailed, provocative, creatively fulfillingà Saiz really is in his own lane
right now.
