Ivana Santilli's 'Breathe InnÆ, the tasty first single with Moonstarr remix has
left fans hungry for more, so Do Right is dishing up a second helping.
æEverlastingÆ is the second single featuring remixes by DJ Mitsu the Beats
(Jazzy Sport, Tokyo), and Circle Research (Do Right, Toronto) featuring
Abdominal.
æEverlastingÆ the album version, produced by TorontoÆs Agile of Brassmunk, was
this summers anthem. Mix 1 part smooth beats with 2 parts keys & strings and you
have the perfect summer thirst quencher. Even in the hot city manages to keep
its cool.
TokyoÆs rising star, DJ Mitsu the Beats, has been busy collaborating with
everyone from Sa Ra to Dwele. We managed to get this heavyweight to give
æEverlastingÆ his special touch. The signature æMitsuÆ beats; alongside Mini
Moog & keys by Masaya Fantasista (Breakthrough/Jazzy Sport, Tokyo) will already
have your head spinning- but IvanaÆs vocals deliver the final Knock-out. This is
definitely one to nod your head to! Caution: we are not responsible for any neck
injuries.
On the flipside, Do RightÆs golden boyz Circle Research is back with another
solid production. Currently locked in their studio and banned from all social
activities, they are busy working on the follow-up album to their debut
æMulligan StewÆ (2003, Do Right! Music). This mix is just a taste of things to
come. The remix also features Abdominal (DJ Format, Abs & Fase), one of the most
in-demand MC on the scene right now.
When Abs isnÆt on the mic at the Glastonbury festival or MCing Saturdays at John
KongÆs Do Right! night, he prefers to chill at the C.R. HQ, where one late night
sesh ended up with Santilli, Abs and C.R. all in the mix- creating your next
favorite song.
