Each of the original cuts ║ │ │║ are ambitious undertakings, driven behind ║ │ │║ stellar guitar work from Reale and Mike Flyntz, ║ │ │║ accented with complex lyrics. The disc includes ║ │ │║ a pair of remakes, as Riot tackle UFO's 1978 ║ │ │║ anthem "Only You Can Rock Me", as well as the ║ │ │║ Beatles "Here Comes The Sun", performed as an ║ │ │║ instrument, as a fitting tribute to the passing ║ │ │║ of George Harrison. ║ │ │║ ║ │ │║ ║ │ │║ I haven't been so into an album in a good long ║ │ │║ while, and this album was like cocaine to my ║ │ │║ ears. Classic metal along the lines of ║ │ │║ Malmsteen, old Rainbow, and Sabbath (Tony Martin ║ │ │║ era) with songs that just kept begging for more ║ │ │║ and more listens without tire. Vocalist Mike ║ │ │║ DiMeo has always been an acquired taste for me, ║ │ │║ but for this album I have signed up as a fan and ║ │ │║ of course now I have to go back and give all ║ │ │║ their other modern day albums another listen.
