Based in the USA, Waldteufel aka Markus Wolff (also known for his
sculptures of heathen gods) is one of the least prolific artists,
when it comes to MUSICà. But each of his very few releases, have
been praised in highest tones by the international Neo-Folk
community. German neofolk in a perpetual quest for the roots of
Teutonic heathendom was always the foundation of WaldteufelÆs work.
Combining primitive ritual sounds with distorted electronic sounds
and sometimes deep-throated (almost to the point of croaking)
shamanic chants, Markus Wolff does not offer music that 'suggests'
ritual. This is the real thing and despite the electronic/industrial
elements the musical sound here stretches back before European music
as we know it to the dawn of religious experience. While shamanic
ritual is an important element of the pagan/magical scene, it is
very hard to find obvious musical comparisons to this outstanding
pagan musician. As usual with Terra Fria, this CD comes in a special
plastic-box and contains 4 exclusive recordings pased on poems by
famous German poets.

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
