Mat Schramm (Universal Dust) from Adelaide is a classicly trained pianist and
musician, but had his head turned to dance music by listening to DJ HMC out
at the local clubs. 5 years ago he set up the house outfit Universal Dust.
Mat writes all the music and lyrics for Universal Dust, but when playing live
has a talented crew of vocalists and musicians to bring his music to life.
Entering into a world track competition hosted by West End Records in New
York, the Universal Dust track "Soul Motivation" got in the top selection and
received a release on the label. DJ Adam Gardner is the warm up DJ for
Universal Dust on their live gigs. He also has contributed to some of the
production on Universal Dust's album "Cosmic". Enjoy this 90 minute mixup
of New York and Australian style soulful, jazzy house.
