Drawing on influences as diverse as Kraftwerk, 19th Century sea
shanties, Les Baxter and Bernard Hermann's film scores, the
elements combine to yield an album rich in textures that
rewards close listening. The Woodcraft Folk manipulate a range
of instruments including glockenspiel, harmonium, banjo, tree
bark, wasps, moogs and melodica to create a breathtaking
instrumental album.
Available in a CD-only edition of 500 copies, packaged in
handmade envelopes and screen printed inners.
